I ran a beautiful seven miles today
on the Paint Creek Trail. It is a
converted train track that runs a picturesque eighteen mile stretch from
downtown Rochester into Lake Orion and back again.
There was about a three or four inch collection of snow covering the
slag path, which will most definitely turn to ice. So this was my last run of the season on my
favorite pick for the long runs. The
trail is blessedly flat, little impact on the joints, and this resource is
going to be sorely missed over the next four months of Michigan winter.
